AISI 422 Creep resistant steel used for thermal engine components in power plants, use turbine blades, fasteners as. Hardenable. Max temperature for continous operating is 580°C. Cr-Ni steel with an austenitic structure with carbides. AISI 616 Alloying additions of Mo, V and W increase the melting temperature, thus having a positive effect on creep resistance.
